Righteousness Is not what u ACHIEVE. IS what u BECOME by following the footsteps of the only righteous one JESUS CHRIST.

Righteousness is usually an idea. As we don't know what righteousness really is, we can only start with our 'wrongteousness'. Remove the wrongdoing and you are left with a righteous dude(tte).

So how? Good question but ultimately a misleading one because you then need to follow the 'how'. You also need to negate the whole idea of achieving anything.

By striving to live by The Golden Rule and serving others.

Heaven is achieved through deed, not creed.
-- Emanuel Swedenborg

Cultivating Humility (non-competitiveness), Purity (sexual energy with only love and the rejection of lust), and Compassion are all important facets of spiritual growth and righteousness.

Defending one or more innocents is also a facet of righteousness.

You cannot achieve it because it is an impossible ideal. Assume always that your best efforts are doomed to failure and you are more likely to act in a righteous way. The second you assume it is achieved, you have become complacent, lazy and arrogant. It is right to aim for the impossible, but pointless to believe one has achieved it.

righteousness to me is getting right with God. that is having a right standing with God. the Bible says that Jesus Christ was made sin for us who knew no sin that we might become the righteousness of God through Christ. in other words when Christ died for us on the cross, He made rigfhteousness available to all who believe that He is the son of God and that He died to take away our sins. so dear friend you can only be righteous if you believe in Jesus Christ and have faith in Him that His death gave you a right standing with God. bingo! you are righeous not by works but by faith in Christ Jesus.

first know yourself. you love yourself for your abilities, but can you hate yourself for your faults? can you stand in front of a mirror and see yourself as you truly are? self realisation, then compassion and then see all alike for you are seeing other formations of god just as yourself is infact and indeed is righteous and the path to righteousness.
