Remember to take care of yourself. This is most important. Take a day off of everything, if you can. Call some other people to take care of the responsibilities for a day or two. You may have to plan it a week or two in advance. The point is that you have to take time out for just yourself every week if you can swing it. You are stressed out and there is only so much one person can carry on their shoulders. Slack off for a day and dont let yourself feel guilty about it. Do it on a day that wont effect anyone else. Call in sick, go bowling, walk through a park, get some poster-board and markers and just draw for fun. You need to. You shouldn't keep going untill you have a break down. That's how people develop mental problems. I would say that 'you're too young to have this much stress', but I know thats BS. Working, going to school, active social life, family responsibilties, making sure 'everyone is taken care of'. That's alot of stuff for one person to handle. Be selfish once a week, tell everyone to go do themselves, and treat yourself to a spa treatment or something.

you're missing the point. You get more pressure because you have proven that you CAN achieve greatness. Everyone pushes you to keep you from falling into the patterns of waste and uselessness of your cousins, brothers and sisters. YOU are the ONE that the family is hoping will make it because you've already proven that you can. They really don't know how to motivate you in a supportive and constructive way so they do what little they can. Never, never, never give up. It will get sweeter one day. Don't let all of your hard work go to waste. You are one of the superior ones. Continue to prove it. You will soon begin to reap the rewards and they will be unimaginable.

Relax as best you can, do the best you can, and don't worry what anyone else thinks about you. Sounds like you could use some new good friends, and if you're old enough, some kind of road trip. That's what summers are for!

Your not the only one, l been taking care of everyone around me all my life. Seems nobody can take care of themself. But when ever l move on to new friends they are left out in the cold. As for people like you and me, we are just a little smarter than they are we don't have to rely on someone else to take care of us.

I've been there for sure, The only advice i can offer you my friend is to start looking out for yourself a little more. It was hard for me to do cuz i'm always worried about what else is going on. Screw them all for now, look out for yourself, do things for yourself, take time to relax and you'll feel better.

first take a deep breath, then look at me, realize that you are doing well compared to me. And maybe alot of people. You are trying to do right it seems, and you should not focus on the family members. Refocus on doing for you first and foremost. You are probably a saint. Realize that you have power.

You have to worry about #1 and that's yourself. It seems like you have everyone in the habit of relying on you. Let them know in no uncertain terms that from now on they have to find their own way and that you are going to start taking care of just yourself. If you are single, have no kids and no responsibilities then all you need to take care of is yourself. We have all felt like giving up at one time or another...God knows I have more than once. You just have to get your priorities straight and then inform everyone of them and stick to it. From now on take care of only YOU....Good luck!

Stop competing with them. Honestly. You are going to drive yourself insane! You need to be doing it for you, not to prove your worth to someone else. From what you've said, it sounds like you far outstrip them anyway, so just get on with it.
