Even though I wasn't ther 2,000 years ago...I believe Jesus was just more aware. The Catholic church condemed Galieo for trying to tell the world that the sun didn't rotate around the earth !

Could be. I don't see what the big controversy is anyway. I am an Episcopalian but I think the DA Vinci code could be real. Jesus was put on this earth to experience life as a man. To me that would include marriage and kids. I don't see what the big deal is about him having a wife and kid. There is no sin in getting married and then having sex.

The Da Vinci Code is based on an old conspiracy theory that has dubious credentials. Further, I agree the other poster who wonders whether one can even prove that Jesus and Mary Magadalene existed.

Keep in mind that you bought "Da Vinci Code" in the fiction section. It doesn't matter if it was true or not, the book was just meant to entertain you and make money for the author.

The DaVInci Code is real. It is being shown on numerous screens nationwide as well as being available in bookstores everywhere. The theories it proposes, however, are merely speculations that have been around for about as long as Christianity.
