that when a woman gets married, she uses the last name of her husband? what's the reasoning behind this??

They do this because it's the start of a new family.. and if you are wonderin why men don't get the last name of his wife then its because in old times men were the ones who "ruled" in the marriage. Nowadays this is different and thats why many women choose to keep their own last name or even both.. =D

She can do what she wants, but if she create a new family, she can take the last name of her husband, only for this reason, all the family one last name
