It would depend on the variety of olive tree. There are olive trees in the Mediterranian area that are hundreds, if not thousands, of years old. Try looking up the Garden of Gesthemane: there are still olives growing there. Whether they are the trees that Jesus walked past, or the decendents of those trees, I don't know, but there have been olive trees growing there for a very long time.

Live indefinately as long as it's "healthy". When it gets "sick" is when it will die.
