it could run vista smoothly but with all the other application you'll install, it will eventually slow down, i suggest you get a dedicated GPU for it to run smoothly. (that's just wat i think) but if you're really eager to run vista on your computer try downloading the windows vista upgrade advisor : http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/upgradeadvisor/default.mspx

Vista straightforward must have a minimal of one million GB all to itself. i in my opinion doesn't even imagine of shopping for a workstation with below 2 GB even if it become in simple terms getting used for information superhighway surfing, e mail and some pictures. RAM criteria are continually increasing with each and each and every new OS and software that comes out. With a 2 GB gadget, you'd be upgrading it in a year or a lot less. Get 3 or 4 GB now and also you'll get extra toughness out of your funding earlier having to sink additional money into the unit. And a unit with 3-4 GB is likely a extra acceptable processor and could serve you extra acceptable also. My rule of thumb is purchase higher, speedier and with extra on it than you imagine you want or will use. you'll nonetheless sense free along with your purchase 3 years from now without expensive enhancements or being advised that it would want to't be upgraded. the purely 2 (certain 2) issues which will be upgraded on a workstation is the RAM and the problematic force. so that you're locked into inspite of you purchase, save properly!

Not except the basic version, but the full version requires at least 128mb of dedicated graphics. The intel gma950 is the only intigrated graphics known to work.
