Wear them around the house for a while. They'll stretch as you move.

If you dry the jeans on very low heat or just air fluff and then hang them up to dry the rest of the way they won't shrink and you won't have to worry about them fitting "lossly" again.

You can also hang them up in the bathroom, just after they've come out of the dryer, while you're taking a hot, steamy shower. That should help make them "lossly" too.

Use fabric softener in the wash water along with a little vinegar (about a quarter cup per load). Use a fabric softener sheet in the dryer as well. The extra fabric softener will definitely make them softer and the vinegar is great for keeping jeans from getting that hard feel plus if you use it with brand new jeans, it sets the dye so it doesn't run as much.

Just don't put them in the dryer in the first place. Hang them outside if you have a place to do so. Otherwise, go to Target and buy one of those folding clothes hangers. I have had the same for over 40 years, use it all the time.

From now on, take your jeans out of the dryer why they are still a little damp. This helps keep them from fitting too snug. But you may have to iron them.
