Hi there,
Can anyone tell me what the Cua Dai beach (in Hoi An) is like? I’m not sure if there are cheap resorts or 2-3 star hotels over there since it’s quite a famous tourist beach in Vietnam. Would be nice if you guys could give me some online reservation websites. Thanks!

i've bee to the beach outside of hoi an[ i did not know it was called cau dai]. its is about 1/2hr bicycle ride out of hoi an town where room rates range from $7us on up. down by the beach all i ever saw were swang , posh, flash[ depending on where you are from lol] resort style hotels as is the case at mui nhe[ phan thiet beach] however the beach in hoi an is MUCH nicer. it rivals nha trang and china beaches as far as water and sand are concerned. if you want online stuff you dont need us just google viet nam/ hoi an.....or nha trang has a great site with links to everywhere[ panaramas too]

There's a three star near cua dai beach with a swimming pool, it's the Hoian Lotus Hotel :

my bro has been there and he seems to be very fond of this beach. keeps telling me it's a nice long beach with white and soft sandy. he stayed at Phu thinh hotel. it's a 2 star resort. heard it's nice though. i dont so much info to clear up your curiousity, but i'd recommend you to check out http://www.flickr.com/photos/mcasteve/sets/1552068/ this site has lots of pics taken in Cua Dai or check out http://www.excelloz.com to see more info.
