I live in Great Barr right now, however, we are going to move down to Solihull in a few months time.
I like the small town feel of Solihull, not to mention it's cleaner than up here and you get a different mix of people. It has a nice town Centre, still close to Birmingham, but at the same time it has a country feel. Good schools, etc.

Well i live in Erdington and i think its great (alot better then some areas), only15 mins to the city centre and 20mins to the country side by car so never far from anywhere. I don't understand why people have such a bad perception of Birmingham, everywhere has its bad points but all in all Brum is a great place to live, people are friendly and chatty and will make yoy feel welcome unlike some cities i have been to.

Hallgreen b28 is great lots of friendly people and great houses, not too quiet ,just right. The city centre is great if you like a busy environment.
