i want teach in guidance school and i need some project.

vinegar and baking soda is an old favorite, but most kids want to see fire and explosions.

mentos (or ganular particles) in soda is making headlines, but i can do better.

electrodes into water, and collect hydrogen in a jar, light the hydrogen and it makes a nice pop.

sodium in water is fun 2, but has chance of fire.

hydrogen and oxygen balloons always are a hit in demo shows.

there are books of this stuff out there. contact the local college and they can help. normally theres students willing to come out and put on a show...

potassium nitrate and table sugar/equal portions/..add one lite match(in a safe place)...instant smoke bomb(thick white smoke that smells like burnt sugar)
