I don't know if you know (forgive me if you do) but Gretchen Wilson is a country singer. If she doesn't have her CD, give her that, or even a poster. If you're out of options, gift cards are always nice and they come in different retail stores and had different designs on them. Where ever she like to shop is an idea

P.S. Don't go too cheap on the card (anything less than 30 bucks).

Hope your Grandma has a Happy Birthday!

Making a collage of the grandchildren would be a wonderful gift and one she would appreciate and cherish.

Go for it!!

By the way, I'm 65 and my wife is 60. We enjoy our 3 1/2 grandchildren. (One on the way, due in September.)

Taking time and doing something by hand is one of the best gifts to receive (in my opinion).

Gifting is never about the COST of the item, but the heart behind it. (I agree with the author Robert Fulgum that is IS the gift [and not just the thought] that counts. If you give a cruddy "plastic" or "disposable" gift, that means you don't THINK very highly about that person.)

The collage sounds like a wonderful idea. Grandchildren are part of her life. Good luck on getting them all!

A collage would be wonderful! I think she'd really appreciate it, I know I would.
But why do you feel getting her something she'd really like, such as anything by Gretchen Wilson, would be a waste of your money?? Sounds a bit, excuse me here, selfish.
In any case, I did like the idea of the collage.. so maybe you redeemed yourself

The collage is a good Idea. But a cheap and easy gift for her is to take her out on a date. Take her some where for dinner or lunch and listen to her stories and enjoy them. that will make her very happy. And it will cost less then the tickets and have a longer impact.

The collage could be a creative idea but that's up to you.
Other presents:
candles, chocolates, flowers, a pen, biscuits, a card made by you.

You could get her a card and make sure you be there for her on her birthday or you could get her the best thing in the world and that would be a big gathering at the house or something and she would probably be very estatic about it I hope.

Your idea of a collage is a great one. Do it up real nice in a scrap book or something and I'm sure she will be very pleased.
