OCEANIA is the austral continent...it includes Australia, New Zealand and all the surrounding islands and countries.
AUSTRALIA is the largest island - country pertaining to Oceania

Thats like saying whats the difference between britain and europe?!!?!
Oceanic is the continent that covers australia and new zealand all other islands around that are. Australia is just a country.
