what words can everybody not stand or find nasty? i dont mean vulgar words, but everyday words such as i hate the word used!!

TROUSERS
I HATE that word. Not sure why, but I remember being bored in class once and thinking:
How does a Trouser Trouse? What is "To Trouse" - What is a Trouser singular?? AARGH - it drives me insane.
I laso hate "spermatoa" - yuck!!

I dislike the work "What" like in the context of when you have asked someone a question and they say what, pardon is such a better word. I also dislike the word "Hate" its such a harsh word it really shouldn't be used in every day context it so final.

I don't like the word "opinion" it seems every one loves to use it, and well it is just too strong of a word. I choose to use things such as, my way of thinking, my ideas, what i understand it to be is..., and things of this nature. but its not a really big deal, just think the word is over used that's all.

That was awesome. The word "awesome" has been "used" to death. It is almost devoid of meaning. Mt. Saint Helens erupting was an awesome sight. A sale at K Mart is somewhat less than awesome.

"huh?" - Pay the F*** attention! Especially when I'm on the phone with a buddy and s/he isn't really paying attention and I end up repeating everything about 3 times over and over. I get so fed up sometimes that I feel like screaming.

I reckon 'innit' is the word (short for Isn't it?) It's attached to the end of nearly all sentances in some places in the UK.
People really should stop using it innit!

I can't stand the word "gay" when it's used to describe something/someone in a negative way. Everytime I think, wtf don't you have something better to say? Like, that's so stupid? When it's used in the way it's usually meant to be in this day and age (to indicate homosexuality), then it's fine. But not when it's negatively used. That's all I can think of at the moment thought

My number 1 pet peeve is people exchanging the words "Then" and "Than".
Example: You are not better THEN me.
(There are other more understandable mix-ups, but THAT one makes me angry at both the Teachers and the Students.)
