It's natural and humans have a drive for it to keep the species going. Also pleasure. It's been proven sex is good for you physically the chemicals released in the brain during sex act as an antidepressant and make people feel good.

because when god created earth he made Adam and eve and they were naked and when they started touching each others they called that sex because you would put the penis and the vagina because god wanted more people on earth so the only other way was to invent something which will make more people which was sex

because we have the natural human desire. its not because we wanna have babies tho.
its like this: squirrels grow trees and humans have babies. however, a squirrels natural instinct is to store food... not make trees and humans natural instinct is to have sex... not make babies...however, a result of a squirrel storing food is new trees... and the result of humans having sex is new babies... actually I suppose this is the case with any/all animals, but you get the point.

well the real reason for sexual intercorse is repurduction. However the reason we have sex when that isnt the cause ( which is most often) is becuase it feels good.
