In my opinion it had to be something Insulting because the score was 1-1 and Zidane does not normally behave like this. I know Zidane is from Algeria and many of the other French players are from other African countries and there are no African player's in the Italian squad so i think it was a Racist comment. It is a shame that there are still so many Racist's out there.

Both players were smiling after the friction happened. Zidane happens to walk away and suddenly goes mad, headbutting Materazzi. He does this knowing he will be sent off. There are few things that would have made him go that crazy on the very last game of his career. Probably a very racist comment I am afraid.

If Materazzi have made a racist comment to Zidane, then I blame the FIFA who have made so much fuzz about racism outside the pitch (Fans), yet nothing has been done inside the pitch (Players). FIFA have to do something about this before we all lose the charm of this game.

I believe it is about something racialist.. well, we know that some of the France's best players come from African, and Zidane is a Moslem.. On the other hand, neither Italian players is from Africa nor Moslem.. I think that reason should be enough to make Zidane got so anger n acted like yesterday..

i don't think anyone will ever know what they said to eachother but it must have been something really provoking becuase i have never seen zidane in the edition. i mean oh my god.... and what a hit... materazzi fell down like he wasn't even standing on the ground. it doesn't really matter now, does it? His career ended in a way no one expected to end.

saying smth that could be treated as racism was too risky.....for now i read 2 reasonable versions of what happened:
1st(russian press):
david trezequet heard the dialog.
Z:u play with your hands..
M:nope,u're wrong
Z:..coz that's the only way u can stop me.when we win in penalty u will probably find better use for your hands
M:keep dreaming.in an hour your mother will **** with me,the champion
2nd(a guy said he could read lips):
M nipple tweaked Zizu.
Z:wanna have some more?
M;not now n*gga...your mother took too much of me last night...
actually i believe the 2nd one more....coz it's no press...and don't think trezequet could hear what happened..he wasn't that close....and if u look at the expressions of their faces it seems like the 2nd dialog "goes with it" better..

for f*cks sake, you don't know what happened between them, only they know, it's stupid to suggest he made a racist comment, maybe he just said that he was a lousy football player or something.
