Specially for Hothaggis: when i say MISERABLE, i don't mean they played **** and looked ****. Longman dictionary provides with the best meanings of words. Go check. And, I am neither Italian, nor French. i just enjoyed the match. and both teams were great.

My goodness, why bloat and insult the other team when your favourite team has won?! Maybe you aren't Italian, but you sure behave like one.

Have you ever seen any team who cheers and laughs when they lose? You are pathetic.

TO VOGGIE

I apologize for calling you 'pathetic'.

Ok, I have just looked into the dictionary:

Miserable: adj.
1. Very uncomfortable or unhappy; wretched.
2. Causing or accompanied by great discomfort or distress: a miserable climate.
3. Mean or shameful; contemptible: a miserable trick.
4. Wretchedly inadequate: lived in a miserable shack; fed the prisoners miserable rations.
5. Of poor quality; inferior: miserable handicraft.

So which 5 of the above did you mean then?

I am NOT French but I am FOR the French because I have studied French in school and had lived there for 6 months for my studies, I simply love the country and the French people.

Yes, I agree with you that both teams played well. The Italians dominated on the first half and the French the second half. If Zidane didn’t get that red card, France would have won.

French team were miserable. Any team would be when u loose the final of a World Cup. France were on the road to loosing the match when Frank Riberry & Theiry Henry were substiutted and Zizou was red carded. The game was definately going for a penalty shoot out, and these were the penalty winners for France. These substitutions proved fatal for the French team.

Italy were great. They deserved the victory as they kept their cool in the entire match

The game was a bit boring (almost fell asleep). The Germany-Portugal was much more exciting.
I think that penalty against Italy, scored by Zidane, wasn't a real penalty. Cunning French are good divers.
So, in the end justice prevailed. I'm happy.

Oooh! they were so miserable am sorry for them after that tiring struggle. I think Penalty is not the best way to determine the winner. I thought they would win. Any way in every match there should always be a winner and a loser.

France was awesome last night, and I'm really sad that zidane ended his career that way. i cant say he disappointed me because I'm sure that he was provoked. anyways i don't think it was anyones fault. Henry should have stayed, but the Italians played cruelly so when he fell down at the beginning i know that he wasn't gonna go far. but yet he did his best. i have always supported France and I'm not ashamed to admit that i cried at the end of the match. i hope they will have better luck on the next world cup........even without zidane
