I live in the US and want to but the Japanese DS Lite, but play US games on it.

I believe so, but you will have to set the language pack on the DS to English. All the games should work no matter what, becuase they are all formated for a DS.

U need to hv a passport n a VISA to play American games.

yeah buy one and try it out, if it doesn't work then to sell it on ebay.. but hopefully it should work, nintendo are not as greedy as sony or microsoft.. with the Pal or NTSC ....BullS**t
