I'm writing this for my paper and I just can't think of some more pros. Therefore, I come here for the "answer". And no, I don't plan on having a kid now..

Example:

1. You'll always be the cool mom at your kids sporting events!

2. You might still be with the latest fashion trends when they are in highschool.

3. And you can relate better (like "When I was your age")...it won't be that much different from the world they live in today.

4. If you have your kids young and get it over with, you'll have the rest of your life to stay fit and be in shape!

I had my first child when I was 16. My pros are when I'm 34 he will be 18. If I live healthy I could see my great-great grandchildren grow up!! We are close in age so we have more in common than a mother/son who are 30 years apart!! My son watched me go through college. I like that cause he was in grade school and it helped him realize the importance of school. We both had 2 hours of studying time after school. He is now in 3 sports and has "A's" on his report cards. We get to do more things together and enjoy it.
I wouldn't have done it any other way! I had my second and last child when I was 18.
I am now 28.

1.The teenage mother's often become very wise when they have a kid.
2.They can better relate to their parents and have a back bone in their parents.
3.You'll have support beyond your family, there are more support groups for teenage mom's than there are for mom's that have kids in their 20's and 30's.
4.You'll be available for special college grants for being a teenage mom.
I hope this helped, if you need some more, just email me at beatlesluvr80@yahoo.com. Have a good day and God bless.

Your pro's are completely untrue and unfounded my mum was fifteen when she had me and if anything it made her more strict, you cant relate better because fifteen years is still along time and times change quickly and as for cool mum it doesnt matter how old you are its not cool to have your mum hanging around thinking she's cool

there are no pro's about teenage pregnancy, yes you can make the best of a bad situation but there is definately no up side to it

Physically the late teens/young adults are the most healthy time to have a baby, and was very common in ancient times. However, due to recent medical and economical advances, it is no longer necessary to do this since the child is just as likely to survive when birthed at a later time.

I have just a few that you havent already said...

they will be younger so life lessons will be fresher in their minds and they can help the kid with homework etc.

stuff will be cheaper! think of the cost of stuff in the future... if you just have kids now, the stuff required to take care of them will be cheaper and easier for you to buy enough

the world is being destroyed by us in this generation, so the sooner your child is born, the more likely it will be able to live a longer and happier life because the worlds pollution and wars and problems wont be as bad as they would be 10 or 20 years later

1) more children for the family...
Girls should start young so that they can bear more children and have a bigger family

2) If there are defects on the first baby, just send it to orphanage and get another in a jiffy

3) An oppurtunity to experience motherhood at an earlier stage to become more mature and mentally stable.

4)as a source of extra income when you get a buyer for the baby
(sorry ...this is a very bad idea . .)

This seems like a joke; like that quote from "Joey":
"You rarely hear the argument FOR teenage pregnancy".
Are you just trying to write a very controversial paper?
All of your arguments have A LOT of holes in them and seem almost entirely based on whether or not the parent will seem "cool" to children (interestingly not to the mother's peers, to whom she will not seem cool), and not whether or she will be a responsible parent.

You have the energy to run after them. When they are teens people will think you are their sister. You can share clothes with them when they are older. When you get older make them call you by your first name and people will think you are a sister and therefor about their age. If you die of old age they will be old too and won't have that much time left to miss you before they die.
