im a 13 year old girl and i was wondering is it too early to wear make up for me? i mean i dont want to go overboard on it but i dont really think i need it a whole lot..there are gonna be times that ill be like " i dont feeel like putting it on today" and ill look different and im sure ppl will notice me not wearing it. but pretty much i was thinking i wouldnt mind eye liner or mascara..i think the eyeliner is a bit muchh but i dont know. what do you think?

stay away from the eyeliner your right its a bit too much and as for mascara why not try some clear mascara to lift and lenghthen your eyelashes but not give you panda eyes

Hey i would just do some light mascara, dont go with eyeliner
unless you are a pro, and by that i mean making it look how it
does on celebrities. Eyeliner looks so tacky unless you know
how to do it like a professional. Mascara is harder to mess up..
just make sure use a little at a time ^_^.
Add some clear lip gloss to the mix and walaah!
You look sharp but not trampy!
I think this is enough make up for a 13 yr old.

Well hun to be quite honest with you...i think your still a bit too young to wear make-up. Wait another year.You don't want it to look like you got into your mom's make-up and sometimes i find that make-up looks silly on young girls. You made a comment about some days you might not wear it or whatever. Let me warn you that when you get started on make-up it will become a habit and you'll most likely get to the point where you don't feel comfortable with out it on. It won't be that easy to just not wear it. It becomes a part of you and i'm speaking from experience.
If you feel that you want to start wearing something...start small. Wear lip gloss and maybe a little bit of mascara if you need it. But i would hold off on the eye-liner.

Definitely go w/ Mascara. The eyeliner is prob too much, esp at your age (and if it's liquid, it's super hard to apply). Mascara will make a big difference & looks great on everyone. In fact mascara & lipstick are the 2 types of cosmetics that women say that can't go without and makes the biggest difference to their appearance.

The eyeliner is going to look a bit off unless you're also wearing eye shadow. I'd recommend mascara, plus some Smith's Rosebud Salve on the upper eyelids and lips (one of my very favorite beauty products--moisturizing, with a nice pink glossy effect). Perhaps some brow color too, depending on what color your eyebrows are (mine are platinum blonde, much to my annoyance, so a little brow color makes a huge difference!). That's all the makeup I wear during the day, and I'm in my twenties.

eyeliner on a thirteen year old is pretty hoochy. Go with the mascara if you must, but at your age you dont need makeup to look good, I am guessing you want to look older, which can become a problem too. Be a kid while you still can. You have plenty of time in your life to be a grownup.

I agree that eyeliner is a bit much because it makes your eyes smaller. You're young so you want to look fresh and as natural as possible. A little mascara on the top lash would be just fine.

At your age I would say no eyeliner (I personally think it can look trashy without proper skill) But mascara is fine. Stay as natural as possible. Mascara just makes your eyes stand out, and your lashes look so nice and full.
But at night practice trying some eyeliner on, or just mascara and see what you like. It's all about personal preference!

If your 13 you are too young to wear make up but if you really want to you can wear mascara because it would look more natural than an eyeliner .

Eyeliner won't necessarily be too much. Go for a lighter color, like a brown, or maybe a white or light blue to make your eyes look brighter. Black would probably be too much, though.
If you go with mascara, the color won't matter too much, as long as you don't overdo it. Try to apply it as close to the lashline as possible, the goal being to darken your lashes, not elongate them. That'll make your eyelashes stand out more without looking too made up or fake.

Eyeliner might be a bit too much for a 13 year old, i'd say just wear mascara to define your eyelashes :)
