well my dream is to become a hollywood actor... but i just need some one to point me in the right direction. i really wnt to do this but i have no clue how to even get started.... help me out !!!

Go to auditions, casting calls, and take head shots so you could print out your resume in the back. Good luck!

practice practice practice....
get some experience
college, community theater
even other acting opportunities
modeling oportunities
musical opportunities
the big key here is knowing how to use your talents in a way that benefits everyone.
-have resume with any experience you can legibly put down or lie about within reason. They won't read it. But if they do, make sure you DO NOT say you were the lead in 10 Commandments
-have head shots and body shots in black and white and color available at all times
-have sheet music available at all times, that you know, memorized, familiar, can preform on command without another's assistance....but be ready for another's assistance as well
-have at least 2 seperate monologues prepared and the ability to recite it
-have an audition dance piece availabe complete with music if necessary on a moment's notice, complete with proper shoes if the dance requires different shoes
-go to auditions
-acutally audition
-be prepared to attend auditions on a moments notice, have a job where you can schedule odd times to participate in an audition.
-do not accept no
-do not irritate them until they say yes, unless they do say yes...then it doesn't matter
-be prepared to be stabbed in the back over a role
-be prepared to stab another in the back for a role
-get an agent who can negotiate and line up auditions for you
-be in the active areas of superstardom to be able to attend auditions
-accept any role you can get until they come flying to you to accept the role, as no one goes anywhere without someone behind them
-remember you are NOT a deva and if you are a deva, play the part to the hilt
-once you are established and can hold your own weight and can afford it join the unions/guilds AEA, SAG, AFTA for acting and for steady work see IATSE for technical theater if you are able to d anything in that field. Hollywood is a big place and gets big names all the time. If you can atleast work the load ins or outs or both, you will definitely be put to work along with the thousands of other IATSE members.

I don't know much about it, but make sure you've got some awesome talents. You should take it one step at a time - it doesn't happen in the blink of an eye. Maybe try to get parts in big theaters. Lots of famous actors have been discovered just performing in subways and on streets. Listen to Caliegh Peters's song Reach.

Truly, you will have to compromise a lot of morals, for you to be a Hollywood star. You can be a Hollywood star but the price you may have to pay is your HAPPINESS and FREEDOM.
I know it sounds cool to be a Hollywood star but history has proved that being a Hollywood star actually destroys a lot of young people's lives. Ask those who have been there!

Ive long forgotten the name of it but there is a highly thought of school in new york city it is one that many famous actors of today have spoken highly of ie R.deNiro,you can find it surfing google or perhaps yahoo.
Know that your chances or slim to none in other words you must very very good,and uniqueness helps,as does money.
don't get your hopes up to much,but if it is something you want try give it your all then if nothing leave it be.

1 for each 1000 ppl go to hollyood becomes movies star. you will find alot of compitition there. I think you have to beleve in your talent and try to produce something by using a sponsor after that you will claim the steps of ladder mayby you will face a snake ;-)

You have to live here man, my friends (average, REALLY average guys) go to auditions all the time. Why? because there are millions of directors here. So get your stuff here and start moving around if you are talented you can start anywhere.
