My favorite part of basketball is seeing Steve Nash standing at the 3 point line and lasering in a pass to Stoudamire who is standing directly underneath the basket, and he just dunks it. Didn't get to see it last year because of injury but saw Marion doing it. Also saw Wade do that once where he recieved the pass after falling down out of bounds.

I don't know who the 5 greatest players are but I'll tell you 5 great players: Michael Jordan, Bill Russel, Wilt Chamberlain, Karem Abdul Jabbar, and Magic Johnson.

But in the NBA now I like Shaq, Yao Ming, Dirk, Nash, Ben Wallace.

the best part about basketball for me is the many incredible things basketball players do on the court... they can dunk the ball, do alley oops, make crazy passes and shoot from the parking lot... all these things separate the game of basketball from other sports like soccer or baseball. and with the evolution of basketball, we can see stronger and more athletic players that do just the nastiest things, gravity defying or things like that...
