The bad news: you CAN'T.
The Good News: YOU get to decide which habits you get to keep.
Decide what you want to do/keep doing...consciously practice it for (roughly 30 days or so) to make THAT a Habit...(in fact, substitute it for one of the Bad Ones, and you score TWO Points, not just one...)

Write on paper the habits that you want to change, and every day try to live to change at least one of them. You made them, you can break them.

Get into the Present Moment and into your Senses.
Then you won't always have to be writing mental notes in the "Journal/Notebook of How I'm supposed to live my life."
