Your skin flaking doesn't have to mean that you have a dry skin , it means that you have a lot of dead skin on your face . You should try and use a gentle scrub on your face and then use a light moisturizer. I recommend Jonson&Jonson.Your skin might be a combination skin, Both dry and oily that would explain the break outs

If your talking about your face I would move up in price point as the ingriedients are a higher grade. Elizabeth Arden and Clarins make some nice facial moisturizers that are good for sensitive and dry skin. Arden makes one called perpetual moisture that is dynomite! And clarins has a large array of face and body creams, potions that would definitely suit. If your looking for a good moisturizer that is a little cheaper, go with Neutrogena daily moisture for sensitive skin.
p.s.
Don't forget to exfoliate once a week so that your moisturizer is more accepting to your skin. I like Neutrogena's gentle daily scrub with beta hydroxy. It's awesome.

Hi there-
Before using all the above wonderful advice,I suggest you go see a dermatologist and get the story before investing any more of your hard earned money. You may have eczema which is a skin condition. I know that Aveeno lotions and oatmeal scrubs are good for this or even like the prior posting an exfoliator. But before making the decision, my advice would be a dermatologist and get the real story first.
Good Luck

Soft Skin Mask:
Here's a great mask to put on your skin for instant softness.
You will need:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil or vegetable glycerin
A healing substance like Vitamin C crystals or aloe vera gel
A few drops of essential oil like lavender (optional)
Mix these ingredients together until you have a paste, and apply it all over your body. Leave on for five minutes until the mixture tightens. Wash off with cool to lukewarm water. You will feel the difference in your skin texture almost immediately.
Don’t try this just before an important even as it may leave a little redness on your skin depending on how sensitive it is.
Good luck babe xx

The best is by L'Occitane. I would recommend the hand lotion with Shea Butter. That stuff is amazing! Mind you, all the products at L'Occitane are awesome. It's not your cheap aloe vera crap you buy at your local drug store. This is serious stuff that costs $30 to $40 a bottle. No matter the cost, I would recommend this stuff.
