Henry was injured, if you watched the game carefully you would have seen that he was being treated by a paramedic during the break before extra time. Anyway Malouda still managed to make several attacks after his send off (and don't forget Zidane's beautiful but saved header) so I would say Henry could have done nothing even if he hadn't been injured.

I couldn't agree more. Especially since his replacement went on to miss the penalty that cost France the World Cup.

well i think that was one very big mistake along with having ribery sit outside as well! these two key players were made to sit after zidane went out!

That was a tactical error. He should have been allowed to finish the match as the possibility of penalties was looming.
