I mean could be it was all vice versa-Zidane was trying to provoce Italian with headbutt to get him booked,but hit lhim ittle harder then neccessary,or Materazii added a litlle acting..Ane the "best player of our time" got his well deserved red card.
How do you know if Italian said anything at all to him? After all Zian has along track record of acting unruly and violently(red cad in 1998, red cards in Juwentus etc)

The fact that neither player has stated what transpired and an agent is speaking for Materazzi, suggests something serious happened. Zidane was obviously provoked. The real question is how bad was the provocation. I guess we'll have to wait a few more days to know.

My boyfriend is Italian and he found an article in the Italian news that said a lipreader identified all that was said between them. Apparently Matterazi insulted Zidane a number of times calling him a son of a *****, a terrorist and saying something about how he must have liked it when he pinched his nipple. He also said something about his sister. Zidane blew up after the comment about his mother (apparently, his mother is sick with cancer or something). Regardless of whatever Matterazi said, Zidane should have kept his cool.

When they played the reply on the telly, I got the distinct impression that Matterazi twisted Zidane's nipple... a case of the purple nurple... that might have gotten him feeling sick and some other stuff that Matterazi might have muttered could have turned the madness on in Zidane's mind.
We won't know for sure. Just have to wait and see what he eventually reveals

You have got to be kidding me! For Zidane to go crazy like that the Italian idiot must have insulted him a lot! Zidane doesn't have crazy temper! He would never to that for no reason! And your theory that he just wanted to pick a fight is just soooooooo stupid! If he wanted that he would just say things as well!
