I have been given the opportunity to live in USA. I am looking for a place suitable for a family consists of a mother & 4 kids staying alone without a man. So I need less violence, less drugs, peace, low cost of living. A secure place where familes live cooperating with each other, as well as good weather.

Oregon is good. Washington State. Seattle is relatively inexpensive compared to NYC, for example, if you don't mind a lot of rain. Kansas. You're going to find drugs everywhere. Idaho is OK for low cost of living, but there are lots of weirdos there. Try Logan, Utah.

If you find a suitable answer, let me know. I'm a single dad of a 12 year old daughter and I can tell you where not to live.

Stay away from South West Florida.

Colorado has it all . Trust me the winters aren't as bad. The snow blows like dust and it has a very low humidity rate. Very few problems over all.
