The only gold colored spider that comes to mind is the yellow sac spider (Clubiona spp.). The whole family Clubionidae is typically small, yellow and associated with human developments. To know for sure if it is this family for sure, look along the corners where the ceiling meets the wall. These spiders will typically form a little hammock for themselves and spend the majority of their time in there. Typically they are associated with bathrooms, where they are in search of water. There are no lethally toxic forms of these spiders, and none that I know off the top of my head. The fangs you may have witnessed could actually be the pedipalps. Male spiders have boxing-glove shaped appendages in the front of the cephalothorax, these appendages are used in the transfer of sperm during copulation. They serve no offensive purpose at all. Many of the members of this family are large enough to give a little nip if they wanted to, but it takes enough provokation to get them to do so. I have answered many calls of people having these critters in their homes and the majority of the time I'll just grab them by hand and toss them outside. I have been studying spiders now for about 4 years and I find the sac spiders to be really interesting. I hope that helps, good luck! Cheers!

What you saw were probably not fangs, but in fact palps. They are located on in front of the fangs and serve a variety of functions. The type of spider you're describing sounds like a Yellow Sac Spider, but to know for sure you can find a pic of Ole Yellar and other deadly spiders at the link below...

Don't know about gold spiders, but here in Inverness there is the biggest spiders I have ever seen in the uk. They do not fit under a pint glass - not that it was me carrying out that operation of course!! Thye also make the hugest webs - from the top of a house down to the garden - you REALLY don't want to walk into one of them!
We also have stripey spiders that actually jump...
Yuk, I HATE spiders

No poisonous spiders. they could bite, and yeah you will get particularly enormous ones, that look risky, yet they're poisonous. Very hardly, poisonous spiders come over, in a field of fruit. in case your particually fearful, then search for a range for a spider specialist. Any poisonous ones, received't very last too lengthy over right here besides.

Sounds like it may be a Crab Spider (the fangs are used to kill flies, their prey), but I can't be sure from your description.

There's nothing here that will harm you.
Only gold coloured spider I can think of is the Golden Orb, but they reside in Australia.
