Well first.. let's erase the stereotype of having to wear make up. Being Goth isn't about wearing all black clothes and pasty make up and piercings and stuff like that. And there are Christian Goths out there, you can add me to your list too of those. But it's free expression. A true Goth wouldn't conform to the rules of modern society in what its appearances are because so why should we all wear black clothes all the time as a "dress code"? Would that not be hypocracy? Inner Goth, aye? Well here: wear whatever you feel is most comfortable for you and that's what your inner Goth appearance is. The truth is, Goths wear whatever they damn well please and they obviously don't care what the stereotypical people around them think because it's a waste of time to care about things like that.

I myself wear black clothing but days like today (which was Sunday for church), I dress in still conservative colors because I'm comfortable in those clothes. Looking like a Goth and actually being one are two different things.

Hate to say it, but you learn about our culture and then you decide to join in for what it really means, not from the massive media stereotyping. If you want to talk to me about it, go on and IM me sometime or email me. Otherwise, don't try to wear Gothic clothes until you really know what it means to be a part of our movement.

Well I am a Christian Goth too. I don't wear make-up. I just wear dark clothing. And sometimes I paint my nails black. But there are ways of being goth without looking like one. You'll figure it out. Be goth in your own way. And you can be a Christian and a goth too.

Get some hypo allergenic make up, just get some eyeliner like some Almay stuff, that's very good for sensitive skin.

But why do you want to look like all the other Goths? Be individual!

If your skin's that allergic, try Bare Minerals. I think it's more natural than the other brands.
