If I were ZZ, I would not have really mind what Marco Materazzi said knwing fully well that my glory time is very much at hand. With thousand of cameras as well as Billions of viewers all over the world, I will just calm down and in the right spirit of football, overlook whatever in that, I', playing my last world cup match and would want to end it without any controversy. I know any right thinking mind will do this.

Zidane was insulted by Materazzi (I heard from the radio that the Italian football player insulted Z's mother). What would you do if some jerk said that to you???!!!

Zidane knew very well that he was being filmed by a dozen of cameras and if he did that, the insult must be really mean and nasty.

If I were Zidane, I would FINISH the match, and then punched the sh** out of Meterazzi.

And why NOBODY talks about Meterazzi as if he was innocent????

It would've definitely been better if he was just patient. But, the guy he head butted wasn't all that innocent either. Plus, Zidane did have a reason as to what he did...even though it may not have been the most professional thing to do. I would have just tried to walk away, but in the end, I might have done the same thing. Sh*t happens.

one player is not the team!...he is indeed a good player but with that attitude he definitely made the French look awful...But at least he will be part of history...I think for the media he was very smart to do that...
Shame on you Zidane!

No, I dont think so. Zidane gave it his best and its always better to have tried and not succeeded than never to have tried at all !!
