How can you test for convergence on the TI-83? Also, can you test for absolute convergence? (Dealing with Calculus II and Infinite Series)

I don't think that it is possible to do this on a calculator. You should do these problems the way that is described in the text book. Those types of problems are more like proofs then brut calculation and should be done without a calculator.

it is impossible on 83, use a voyage 200 , 89, or 92

I really doubt that you can. You will probably need a Voyage 200 or Ti-92 so that you can apply the integral test or ratio test at infinity.

If you're tryin to do Calc on a 83, you're screwed...
Ya got to step up to a 89
