My wife has a yeast infection that smells like three week old rotted beer-soaked piece of bread. I can smell it through her clothes and I'm dreading being trapped under the blankets with her ALL NIGHT. I've never asked her to sleep on the couch before and I don't want her to get mad at me but I also don't want to try to pretend I'm not gagging.

Is there a way to get my wife to sleep in the other room? She's already asked me why there are sheets on the couch.

We've already been to the doctor today. That's how I know it's a yeast infection.

Well, get over the counter Meds at Walgreen's. 2 days and it over.
Also, antibiotics cause 85% of yeast infection in women (men too). The antibiotic kills everything in your body including the good bacterium in a woman's private area and in your colon. Then with good bacterium gone the bad stuff grows, ie, yeast infection.

You sleep on the sofa, and a yeast infection does not, I repeat does not have this odor you described. In the morning, get her and yourself to the Doctor, the sooner; the better. Dude that is no yeast infection, the description alone has STD written all over it.
Get to the Doctor, both of you!

WoW, I adore women. You are so not a gentleman, And I hope you get a yeast infection under both your arm pits and die of self suffication. The answer is NO. If you can't handle it, you've already got your couch made. Go sleep in it yourself.

So, you would actually subject your company to that funk! If she sleeps on the couch, your couch will smell bad. Make her sleep on the front portch, on old sheets that way you can just throw them away!

Don't take a bath with her! That's disgusting! Who knows what is seeping out of that death trap!

I wish well for your arm pits!

Good luck, and good smells! :)

well she sure as hell should be mad at you, you should be a little bit more sensitive. if it bothers u so much, go sleep on the couch.. how would it feel if u get sick and smell so bad and all the concern she can show is put u to sleep on the couch while she gets all the comfort in bed?? pretty insensititve, huh???

Why dont you sleep on the couch? Be honest and tell her that it is because the infection and by nor means a snub to her - just the smell. My husband snores really badly and I sometimes go sleep in the guest room, but we always are honest. He knows that he cant help it and that i dont love him any less for it.... good lcuk!

How about a nice douche and a feminine deodorant spray? Its not her fault so dont try to punish her, instead think of a solution, or take her to see a Doctor. We had a policy that if one of us didnt want to sleep with the other, that person went to the couch, so in our house, you would have to go out there!

Why don't you sleep on the couch if it bugs you so much. (After she falls asleep of course) It could help you avoid a nasty confrontation and her accusations of true loves don't care about stuff like yeast infections. Good luck and get your pillow on that couch pronto.

First(if this isn't just BULL) has she been to a doctor? One would think a husband would give a s**t enough to care about her health and comfort. And you don't want her to get mad at you? Ever think that "smell" could be a symptom of something other than a yeast infection.......doctor????? maybe YOU gave it to her..

Tell her that you're going to sleep on the couch?!

Has she gone to a doctor yet? If not, drive her there now. If she has, then just park out on the couch until it gets bearable for you.
