Hey, can someone tell me, if I have a motherboard with a Pentium 4 2.4GHz 478 socket configuration, can I use another Pentium 4 with 1.8GHz 478 socket configuration? Will my PC work after I fully assembled it?

i second under world here. as long as you are within the same chipset on your processor it will work in the socket but the lower speed will cause the comp to run slower
