I'm gay, 38, and feel I was a late bloomer...I came out at 23. I work with a guy who came out at 13...I certainly never had that courage as a kid, even though I knew I was gay. Come on out, you'll be surprised how much support ther is for you just in family and friends alone. Honest.

Hah I'm 14 and in the closet. It sucks doesn't it? Living a lie. Plus if I don't come ut, my parents are going to ask "do you have a girlfriend? When are you going to get married? When am I going to have grandkids from you?" Uhh.. I have to tell them sometime. Then again, you could hook up with a lesbian, have kids with her, and then have "roomates" AKA her partner and yours.. That would be sort of wierd tho. It could work. sort of unethical but could.

anyways, good luck. I know how hard it is, and I've only realized I am gay for about 1 or 2 years.. You've had to go through it a while.

44 yearold gay and proud of it man,
basicaly I can sat that I was never in the closet . even at an early age (5 and probably younger) I knew that I was attrackted to guys and everyone that knew me knew this too ! over the spand of my life I have never hidden who or what I am to anyone . why should I or for that matter how could I ,when I have devoted my life to LGBT Equality issues from marching in NYC to helping promote Gay Pride in the states I have lived .
Now has it always been accepted by everyone NO !

But I feel if I am expected to accept who you are then you should accept me for who I am , if not then move on !
HUGGS

its a F*** or be F***ed world. So either your F***ing yourself by staying in the closet or your going to get F***ed when coming out... Unless of course the majority of your world (friends & family) would be cool with it... then what the F*** are you hiding for grows some balls or take some from another guy or two.

I came out of the closet altogether after I got out of high school. To each his own, but I could live no other way. I am not ashamed of who I am.

i am 24 and gay. my friends knew in high school. my family didn't even know until just last year. whether you should come out or not depends on your family and where you live. most of my family was disgusted but understanding. my father on the other hand, well, that's another story. you are an adult. it's your decision. i don't mean to sound harsh though. i kind of had to come out. i was seen making out with my ex in a bar. not even all of my friends knew. one of my female friends almost had a heart attack. anyway, good luck with your decision. i just didn't care anymore when it happened to me what anybody would think. it's my life. take care.
