I believed Zidane and Roberto Carlos were the Gentlemen in Soccer field, but Zidane put all away in a single match. He is supposed to start an accademy for kids and I wonder how he can do that with this kind of nature on field. I was really shocked by seeing that headbutt and then I thought something provoken was forced him to do so. Unfortunately there was no video evidence for what the matter has provoked him to do so. Mettrazi or Zidane has to reveal the reason behind that action.

Zidane is ofcourse one of the best player, but he spoiled it in last world cup match. Moreover he was the captain, he has to remember that and ofcourse he forget the world respects his manner as well as his "Zidane magic".

Anyway I wish him all the sucess in his future!

every player has his good side and bad side. they all make fouls.
zidane was an amazing player and a legend of the game.
the mistake he did in this world cup , well know one will know why he did it? was it that he was bribed or was it because he just lost his temper at the wrong time of the game.
you cant completely blame him for this. the team as a whole should have done something. but instead all their key players just got off the field and never came back like henry and ribery! no clues what the coach was upto!

That does not make him a low class player...c'mon you are judging someone's football skills on what they did in an incident when he lost nerve??? Zidane is not the only one who had incidents that made him act unprofessional. It's more appropriate to call it unprofessional rather than him being a low class player....Obviously though you must not like him at all so there is no use to explain all this anyhow....

Who ever said that Zidane is unblemished???? And who said Zidane needed our forgiveness?

He is one of the greatest, if not the greatest football player. He was being provoked and insulted. But if I were him, I would wait until the match was finished and kicked the hell out of Meterazzi!

It's just far from reality that this significant player do such this beheavior at this vital time ,he was supposed to think about france ,another players and so on.I think this match should teach him a great lesson "at the crucial times in the life he should have self-sacrifice "

it's not really upto you and me to forgive Zidane for his unblemished past . he has his negative side just like everyone else , it's only photographed more frequently . i think Zidane is a good player , he just didn't know how to walk out gracefully on his last match .

No one is unblemished...is Maradona ? is Cryuff ? is Rossi ? then ?
you judge a player by weighing his good & bad actions...
for Zidane there are too many good points....
dont abuse him like that...you are abusing football itself..
