what does it mean when a player has 20 caps and what is the whole +10 thing about?

those nike ads that say "whats you +10 team" or something like that, I don't know what they mean by "plus 10"

yes, caps are the number of games they have played for their national team.

+10 is an advertising campaign from Adidas. There are 11 players on a team, and their idea is that with one person "+10", anything is possible.

This is their way of showing off big stars, while still saying that it takes all 11 to win a game, not just one good player.
