Yes it does but only for a second then the needle goes thru ur skin. After that it swells up in a way you don't feel any pain.
Be prepared for the nexk 1-2 weeks where the pain will come back and bending down will be hell!
You have to religiously take care of it the first few months to prevent 'rejection'. That's when the jewellery get pushed away from the pierced hole. You have to get it removed if that happens
Worth the pain... after 2 yrs, its like I don't even know its there!

It's just a pinch when the needle goes through and then it stings a little bit when they slide the needle out and the ring through. But it's not that bad.

Not a whole lot, pinch it, really hard. That is often used as the only pain killer for doing it. If you can do the pinch, you can do the pierce.

A little but it's more like a lot of pressure. Just don't look and concentrate on breathing if you're frightened
