Yes, the most current apple notebooks based on the Intel CPU can have the following options to run Microsoft Windows on the Macbook.
1) Dual boot - partition the hard drive in the computer and install an application called "boot camp". Upside - Complete MS Windows as you would be running on any other windows notebook. Downside - you must reboot everytime to switch from the MacOS and Windows OS.
2) Parallels - An application that runs under MacOS that allows you to run both Mac OS and Windows at the same time. Upside - you can switch between the two OS immediately without rebooting. Downside - because you're running both at the same time, you will have an overhead of RAM and CPU which will slow down both systems.
For most people, unless you are running CPU and RAM hungry applications, it appears that the second option is the best and that is what Apple appears to be pushing also.

no..i dont know why people even bother buying apple stuff, yeah sure its nicer, but they are like spoilt kids, never accept anytihng but their own apple products...only want wat they want.
