There are SEVERAL such colleges. University of Alaska Fairbanks does so for fine arts majors. Most universities do.

Yes! Almost all colleges or Universities have a fine arts department. To be accepted into the Fine Arts program one has to present a portfolio of work. With the portfolio, one also has to provide references, a list of awards, grants, and fellowships. As well, for visual artists, it's important to state your belief in your work and your vision. Again, almost every single University in the world has a Fine Arts Department. U.S. News lists the top 25 Visual Arts schools in the United States. You may want to check out that list.

I guess there are scholarships like that especially in art colleges. I guess it pretty much depends on each college. Check with the financial aid office of the colleges of your choice and see... You might also want to check Fastweb (www.fastweb.com) to find similar scholarships that applies to most or all colleges that you go to.

No not really. Most schools only take you in based on your grades and stuff. I very glad that you trying to get in somebody's college. I hope you find what you looking for. Good Luck
