V for Vendetta. It has everything; drama, comedy, romance, and action. Its got an amazing plot line, awesome cinematoraphy, and it has a lot of intelligence to it. This movie stirs up a lot of modern day political issues that can start some great conversations afterwards. It has allusions to many points of history as well as the modern day politics and somehow blends them perfectly. Absolutely amazing movie.

This is going to sound redundant, but "Scarface". Everything about the movie screams 'guilty pleasure' and I absolutely love it, each and everytime I see it!

American Beauty, written by Alan Ball. I love existentialist films! They make me feel so much better about my life when I'm down. American Beauty is my birthday staple, it makes me realize it all just is, and it's beautiful. What better film is there?
