Do you mean you'll have your partner tested for HIV? After a person gets infected with the HIV virus their blood test can test
negative for up to a year. When I worked in a hospital, if I came into contact with the blood or body fluids of a patient, my blood was tested right away and every 3 months for a year.

As far as your question of should you have sex or not. Both the Old and the New Testament say sex before marriage is a sin. I believe that the Bible is the word of God but I was never able to live up to that part before I got married. Since my divorce 6 years ago I haven't had sex. It's difficult. From a practical point of view, I know from my experience and from talking with others, that if a person has sex that is wonderful with an attractive person a person can feel like they LOVE the other person when it is really only chemistry. Be good to your self, sex before marriage will bring problems into your life.

i say if your married and with the same partner and know (tested) your both clean theres no need fo ra condom. If your scared of catching somthing get tested. But rememeber some STD's can take up to seven years to show on a test.

Sure you should have sex, only if you are ready. You should have your partner tested. You can also use condoms alone with your birth control. Or you can buy the Ortho Options Conceptrol contraceptive gel. I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years and he hates condoms, we both were tested and I'm on the pill. I also use that contraceptive gel, so far it's worked for me.
