There is always a way of contacting a star however.....and there is always a however aswell....a star's privacy is closely contained for this very reason.....to keep crazy looneies from constantly messaging them and tellin' them they want to bang the crap outta' them.
If you are serious about wanting to contact Mr. Routh, the best way is to contact his agent, union rep, or studio manager and addressing a letter to that person in care of the actor/actress. It is considered fan mail. Every major organization that maintains a good working relationship with its artists already have a policy and proceedure mandate set forth going as far back as the 1940's for multi media groups.
Please don't beome the scary psycho that everyone else makes fun of just because you can not control your decency and discipline.

i myself am overly captivated by mister routh (judging from his down-to-earth and gentlemanly character, both off and on-camera)...
yeah, he's definitely one hot man... in my view, he did more than just a superb performance in Superman Returns...
but then, acknowledging the privacy that is rightfully due him, I have never even dared to know the way to contact him. Not that I'm not interested... I must admit that I can't quit dreaming about or feigning for him as well...
but it's just that i know that we're not close, I have no strict business with him... and i don't want Brandon and everybody concerned with him (including his girlfriend, family, and manager) to get annoyed or whatnot.
like what has been mentioned by a previous user who answered this question, the surest way to contact Brandon Routh (and any actor/actress for that matter) is to get in touch with Brandon's manager or management team. Call around the talent centers within Hollywood to ask for the contact number(s) of Brandon's manager/management team. Then, if the manager or the management team clearly assesses the type of business you want to transact with Mr. Routh, then that is most probably the time that you could ask for Mr. Routh's email address. But then, if you're not really going to do "strictly formal" business with Mr. Routh, there's really no way for you to get it... unless you're a good hacker =D
it's alright to be a fan/supporter of Brandon, there's really nothing wrong with that; there's also nothing wrong with being obsessed with him, but then we gotta make sure that we're not crossing the line of privacy that separates us from our favorites/idols.
