We may never know. There may be a rocky core but it surrounded by a huge gas atmoshpere that we may never penetrate to find out.

Gaseous sand or a form of gritty vapors maybe. lol At the centre there may be something that is in liquid like or in a active solid form. Unbelievable pressure exist there.

Saturn is a gas Giant like Jupiter and isn't made up of sand.or any other type of rock or mineral.
