None, a Betta maybe, but I think even that would be cruel.
I would not get anything smaller than a 10gal tank, a 20gal is a great starter size. It's so much easier to maintain the water quality in a bigger tank.
Rule of thumb is one inch of fish per gallon of water, that is one inch of GROWN fish, so do your homework and find out how big the fish you want to get is going to be.
You'll need aeration and filtration as well and that's hard to do with a 2gal tank. So, if you're serious about fish keeping, don't make them live in this tiny torture chamber please.

1 cm of fish to 1 liter water...
2 gallon = nearly 8 liter
so...
you can put
- 1 goldfish (a smaller kind of, which don't grow more than 7-8 cm)
- 2-3 guppies
- 4-5 neons or other small fish
or you can use this tank as a breading tank or nursery for babies (fries)

0, or one betta. Any other fish is cruel, though the betta is pretty bad. Goldfish get to over 2 feet
Please do not use the torture device though, even a betta needs 5 gallons, though if you have a filtered tank and heated, it is better.

One - a betta fish. This is the only fish suitable for a tank this small. Anything else would be overstocking it, which will lead to fish sickness/death.
You will also need a filter and heater for this tank.
