Stop washing with that orange marker in the rinse cycle!

I'm kidding, I'm thinking rust in the machine as well. There are some products you can find in the laundry isle. I haven't had the problem for a long time so I can't remember the products name.

look at your clothes to after you just washed they but not dried them yet to see if is coming from the washer or drier. I would use something white that you don't care about. If it is coming from the washer dry then do this again w/o the detergent to see if is from the detergent. If it is change detergents. If it is not then I would bet there are rustly water pipes that attach to your washer. Or it chould be the washer its self (most likey if it is pretty old). If it is they drier i would try wiping it out.

clean your washer and dryer inside with something like CLR or Lime away, then rinse with clear water , if you dont have a water softener i would consider one since the rust may be in your local water. You can get a rust remover which you can add to your wash water to see if you can get the stains out of the clothes.

I'd say you're most probably getting rust from somewhere. I had the very same thing happen to me before I realised I was getting rust from the back of the radiator that I left my clothes to dry on!

Good question, I use SA8 detergent for 3 years now, and I have never had that problem or it has never stuck to my clothes!! because it disolves instantly!! instead of the tide that is made from clay and fillers thats why tide sticks to clothes in water, SA8 starts moving and starts cleaning instantly!! privately owned and I sell it write me at www.damongngdmnd@aol.com

You forgot to take you crayons out of your pockets. You mistakenly thought a orange would be a good substitute for dryer sheets. Your goldfish decided to become a non-conformist.

Actually, you probably have a lot of Iron in your water. : )

It could be rust. Look for some metal object in your washer, or the pockets of a clothe, or have your washer checked.

Maybe old pipes that are supplying water to your machine? Rust can come off an orange color.
