If I use oil for tanning.. which is better?
Tanning in the sun.. or in a tanning bed?
I've heard using a tanning bed is easier and faster.. but I'm not sure.
Or are they completely the same?

sorry for the irish response...what is better skin cancer or skin cancer? why on earth would you use oil first of all? if you use sunscreen you will still get tan but have more then half the chance of dying for it later. tanning beds nowadays have become safer somehow they have bulbs without the burning rays but whos advertising that the drs who treat cancer patients or the tanning salons who want your money. yah i agree you look better tan but its not worth it

From my understanding, both are the same. Tanning beds are able to concentrate the UV rays more so that it takes less time to get the tan. But both will cause cancer over time and both will damage skin. I have seen many people who tanned and they began to look much older than their years. (35 - looked 50+) It was so odd to see it first hand. Just the skin looses it's elasticity thus no longer contracts back. Some believe a tan makes them look better but in the long run, it does the exact opposite. But this is more than you asked.

Tanning beds share the SAME dangers as natural sun tanning.

However: if done right, tanning bed use can yield faster body tan results. Debate rolls on if tanning beds are safer than natural sun and that choice ultimately will have to come within your decision.

Tanning bed is more dangerous. If it start to burn you or cooking your skin, you can't hide it. Where as in the sun, you can put some clothing on or get some shade.

they both cause skin dammage and tanning oil has no spf protection in fact its like putting butter in a frying pan, wake up or you will have serious trouble one of these days. no tan is worth cancer.
