honestly. just tell her. don't hold back, don't draw it out, don't try to make her guess. Just say look here it is.... and say it. Then give her time to digest it and go on living your life in the way that makes you happy.

It's probably a safe bet your best friend's wife already has told her hubby about your wearing "girl things"; he's probably been sworn not to tell YOU he knows. And if he's still your best friend regardless, why not keep it a "secret"?
The time itself may come along, where your best friend may ask you if it's true. Then, you can tell him and brace up for the real test if HE's your TRUE best friend or otherwise.

I had/have the same problem. I am intersex and starting to live as a girl. It's not easy to do and trying to explain to others why I am like this is hard. It takes time and understanding.
