you can see by the answers that there is a huge gap between the upper 20% and everone else. this situation has been growing since the 1980's and will probably get worse, the current disparitiy is nearly at the same level it was in 1929....
I'm in the upper 20 so personally i'm feeling quite content. But we will all pay for this disparity at some point down the road.

The economy is great; GDP is growing above trend, we are at near full employment, and company profits have grown by double digits for nearly 4 years

It was before I got married, when I was a full-time college student working a full-time job, with barely enough to scrape by. Now, I have my husband to take care of me, and geez, that is a load off of my shoulders. Still, though, the gas prices put a MAJOR dent in our bank accounts.

No I have done the best I have ever done in the last 3 years. With proper training or education you can enter a high demand field possibly.

yesthe ecnomy is making me poor ive no one to assist me. ive been brought up in a village with mafamily being very poor
