1- Iran is a very old country being proud of its history and great civilization.
2- Iran is occupied by bunch of Anti- Aryan Ayatollahs who have taken the majority of its people in hostage.
3- Iran is a so called Republic that has no real democratic system to govern the nation.
4- Iran is controlled by a supreme leader and the president is just a poppet.
5- Iran has beautiful ladies who are forced to wear scarf even though they like to show skin in any possible opportunity.
6- Iran is a country that its women have been fighting to keep their basic right even if the government is suppressing them.
7- Iran's economy is an oil- depended economy. Iran without oil will be a very poor country.
8- Iran has the most possible opposition in any system on the planet but because there is no unity; the powerful minority controlling the country are governing the great majority who hate the government.
9- Iran's Student Movement back in early 2000 brought the Ayatollahs to their knees apologizing from the nation and promising for reforms which never took place but the movement is growing even wider and rapidly in hidden cells. Student and women movement are national oppositions which have not much of a strength because of no leadership.
9- Iran is a country that is in love with US culture but its government's slogan is : "Death to USA"
10- Iran might be the only country when visitors sports teams visit the country, especially USA, German and Italian teams, people cheer for the visiting team other than the host!
11- Iranians never agree with each other and always tend to be individuals. That's one of the reasons that the united Ayatollahs have been governing for almost 3 decades there.
12- Iran has an interesting climate. Its capital Tehran is a 4 season city with a lot of snow in the winter and a very hot summer.
13- In the end, to make the long story short, Iran or Persia as Tommy said in here " A confused Country! With full of Contradictions! Without any trust between the people!

A sovereign independent country being ruled by a democratically elected President like the United States of America.
The only difference is that it is an Islamic Republic, hence has to pay for it.
