White Gold.Because I have never been a fan of gold or silver but I think white gold is cute.If U need this advice because u want something gold or silver U should get white gold.

I prefer the price of gold for those gold items I own. I prefer the look of white gold, platinum, and silver for aesthetic reasons.
I'm a olive toned and typically tanned guy and I like the way it stands out on me.
I own a few items that are yellow gold and white gold, and if crafted right, they can be quite artistic and attractive.
But all of this is not important, what you like and what looks good on you is the only real thing you need to consider.

For practicality, silver. I prefer the color, and I don't suffer allergies. If I have the money, or it is important, ie my wedding jewelery, I prefer white gold. I need at least 14k to not have an allergic reaction.
P.S. Though this wasn't included in the question, I do not prefer platinum ever, as I personally think it looks like dirty silver in desperate need of polishing.

Silver. I prefer blue and green colors and feel silver goes better with the cooler colors. If I have a red or yellow stone, I think gold goes better.

Silver, or preferably platinum- they are just so darn pretty and they go with almost anything!. White gold is livable. Black hills gold is pretty. Regular old gold I like for decorations (like at Christmas), but not jewelry.

My favorite is Black hills gold. I'm not one who likes much jewelry, the few I have are Black Hills Gold I just like the look especially with opals.
My husband when we first started going out he bought me, both silver & gold, until I mentioned I liked black hills gold, now that's all get gets for me.
