i'm 5 mnths pregnant.and he has given me money to help with obgyn visits and ultrasounds,and stuff in prep for the baby.we are seperated and he is doin it out of spite cuz i ended the relationship cuz of his selfishness.

File child support papers honey. It doesn't matter why he isn't paying, you both created that child & it is now BOTH of your resposibility. If he's not man enough to do so himself, make the courts do it for him! Of course you do have to wait until the child is born to file that paperwork. Until then I would suggest asking him for the money for your bills.

He contributed 50% to the creation of your child. He should definitely contribute to the child's support. You need to see a lawyer. That is the only way to make sure that the law is applied to him (or you, or the child, for that matter). He may or may not pay support at that point, but you will have done everything in your power. Even then, if he's supposed to pay support and chooses not to, a lawyer (or court) can have his wages garnished, have him thrown in jail, whatever the law says should happen, depending on the circumstances.

Gee, what does one advise you, look, I think there are agencies that will help you with money, and the legalities of your situation. I am wondering did you both discuss having this child before it was conceived? He sound like a real bum, I hope he gets his. Anyway, please dont get into a battle with him over money, have you no family willing to help you? I am sure you have parents or siblings that love and care about you. You are going to have a long hard battle on your hands so keep positive, your baby will need you. Forget Him, and good luck.

Ok so this doesnt make sense....he is giving you money or he isnt givin you any money? I mean its partly his child so he needs to step up and make sure that all your needs (the baby and yours) are met. If he doesnt step up, that will lead you to rely on the system and thats very unfortunate if you recieve aid that someone who may not have the option of a baby daddy helping out could use.
Damn a verbal agreement get everything notarized and legally bound....because as soon as you get a new boyfriend he will begin to act real brand new and your baby will suffer because of his issues with you moving on with your life.

if he has given you money to help with doctors and ultrasounds and all this you have said why would you need more money from him? Sounds like you are being greedy. Just cuz you got knocked up doesn't mean he should shell out a bunch of money to you. Sounds like he is doing his part.

You have to have the child before child support can be ordered without being overturned. You should have insurance and make sure you have the child support order ready when you do have the child.

I would ask and, if that doesn't work, take him to court and sue for child support. That is the only way you are probably going to get financial help from him.

you can get some money after the child is born...but you might have to prove its his....go to the child support division at your court house or wherever it is in your town and file some papers
good luck
if you're having trouble with you medical expenses go to the welfare office and they might be able to get you on medicaid

go to the county family law department and file CHILD SUPPORT papers...they won't ask, they'll TELL...
